For my Intro to Sound final, I combined my passion for LGBTQ youth advocacy with a radio show. Prior to the show, I asked a variety of queer people I know to call me and leave a voicemail sharing an experience they had as a queer youth. At WPSR, I hosted the show with two heterosexual, cisgender friends, played the voicemails on air and asked listeners to call into the show to comment on the experiences they heard. The show was a success and created a beautiful conversation. Below, I've featured a condensed version of the program, as well as the full 16 minute broadcast.
